Since then I have worked with well-known commercial organisations such as Marks & Spencer, Chase Manhattan Bank, Penguin Books and BBC Television. Public sector clients have included the Scottish Executive, the Prisons Inspectorate, the Department of Health and the Metropolitan Police. I also work with information technology companies. These have included IBM, Microsoft, Fujitsu, Oracle, Hewlett Packard and Nokia. Editing and writing are a major part of my business -- details here. My other main activity is conferences and seminars. I design, manage and chair events throughout Britain and mainland Europe. Affiliations These have included: • being a committee member (and joint founder) of The Process Modelling Group • chairing the British Computer Society's office automation specialist group • founding and chairing the Office of the Future Information Exchange (OFIX) • being an active member of the Association of Teachers of Management, a network of organizational development practitioners • for several years, being a judge for the annual Information Management awards.
